Olde Victorian Bulldogge

The OVB is an olde bulldogge that is being bred and shown to the victorian era standard. A large smooth coated dog with a wide heavily built torso and chest. He is large headed with thick bones that does not empede vigor. Broad muzzle with a short face, but not too short to hinder breathing capabilities. Hindquarters should be slightly higher than foreparts. The bulldogge should have a symmetrical body and be well muscled. The OVB must be loyal and courageous but must have a stable temperment.

The Victorian Bulldogge Association is committed to creating the ultimate Olde Victorian Bulldogges, a Bulldogge that has movement, looks, & temperament. These Bulldogges are created using formulas that had the betterment of the bulldogge in mind; make no mistake about it, the Olde Victorian Bulldogges of the VBA are second to none, the OVB has proven to be a consistent, healthy dogge. The OVB is registered and trademarked and can only be registered through the VBA. The VBA offers a registered kennel program for members that have a good knowledge of dogges as well as having the betterment of the bulldogge at the forefront of their minds. The VBA is a bull breed registry, we offer full registration for the Olde Victorian Bulldogges as well as the Olde Bulldogges.
The VBA also offers registration for other alternative bulldogge crosses which are registered as Old Style Bulldogges through the VBA, for more information on the Old Style Bulldogge status please click on the link to the left of the page. The VBA offers registration to all bull breeds. The VBA will offer at least 2 show events per year; within these events there will be two shows held on that weekend, this will allow you to earn points towards the champion title awarded by the VBA, you will also be able to obtain your dogges obedience certification at the VBA events as well as participate in working events that are being put together by the VBA governing board. In order to enter your dogge in a VBA sanctioned event he/she must be VBA registered.
